Operation Doll Knit, one of our most fantastic volunteer programs at Lifeline Malawi, reached a new milestone this week.
It seems like only yesterday that we were honouring the team at our annual banquet for completing 5,000 dolls for our infant patients BUT they have now knitted 6,000.
This is a program that could go on forever, with 15 babies a week being born and seeing 150 children a day in our clinics the need for these comfort dolls is never ending.
Thank you so much to our volunteers that give of their time, energy and yarn so endlessly for the benefit of children so much in need.
